Young Henry Caldwell is a boy on the run!  He's running from his past, his fears, his upbringing, and he's running from God.  The trouble is, that Henry is running straight into the fury of war, and in the jungles of Guadalcanal in 1942 he will find himself drawing closer and closer to a meeting with the God that he has denied all his life.  While most people find peace and revitalizing rest in sleep, Henry is drawn even closer to a destiny that could end in the depths of the Pacific at the hands of some great beast in a dream that won't end.
