County one.

Chapter 2 of my book is called "County One"  which is based off of a sheriff that I knew growing up. Hank Maddox, the character in my book "A way that seemeth right" is a no compromise, no nonsense hardnosed law man stuck somewhere between 1880, and 1998.  He's a man who would be just as comfortable on horseback as he is in his Hunter Green Ford Crown Victoria.  His mind is working overtime all the time on how to fight the on going, all out war with the drug cartels, and also on how to keep young Gauge McLane alive!  Maddox can be a loving husband, an inspiration to young men, and compassionate, but if you're bent on trouble he can give you the punishment you deserve.  If you want to know more about Hank you'll just have to get the book ;)
